Knowledge of the principles and practice of local authority run licensing regimes, excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships are therefore essential. We are embarking on an ambitious project to review all our operating systems and procedures and to move to a new software system that will open opportunities for enhanced service delivery to all licence holders within the city. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in that work from the outset and so we are looking for somebody with the enthusiasm, experience and potential to help shape our licensing services of the future.

Experience of delivering local authority regulatory licensing work or equivalent is essential, but we are more interested in your potential to develop the service, the team and yourself than in the breadth of your current licensing knowledge. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 15 th December Apply on-line at www.
