Remove dual boot vista windows 7




















Click Start and then Computer. Check to see how many partitions you have. Windows 7 by default boots as C :. Make sure you identify the Vista partition and right click on it, select Format and click Start. Your Vista partition should now be free.

Note: Be careful when attempting to format as formatting would make you lose all the files in the partition. Select the partition which has Vista and that you are not selecting the partition which has your data if any. Vista was install first, I partitioned my hard drive and then installed 7 clean on the new partition.

I have installed my programs everything runs great on the 7 partition. Now I would like to remove the Vista partition and merge that to the 7 partition. I have searched around and have read many options of doing this but I can not find a definitive way of completing this.
